Robert Emery manages the talent at Hamiltons, “it’s all about having fun with a pencil” is how he sums up the firm’s approach to the business of design. What drives him is working with people who are passionate advocates of the free-thinking, lateral approach that is so evident in Hamiltons’ way of working. Such a creative bent has its corollary in the technical design skills that ensure that creativity remains in the real world and has practical application – Hamiltons is no place for creative excess.

Robert studied architecture at Nottingham University prior to joining Hamiltons Architects in 1986 and has worked on a varied range of projects during his time with the practice.
